What documents should I include?

Typically we require a hydraulic plan for multi-residential and commercial developments. Please refer to the Application Form where you will find a list of what documents are required for your application.  What's a Development Application (DA)?

You received a Development Application (DA) once you have attained building approval from your council. Please ensure to include the DA Conditions and approval plans together with your application for a timely turnaround. 

 How long will this take & how much will this cost?

Our objective is to provide you accurate, on-time and cost-efficient designs. With 30 years experience we are confident that we can provide you the best service at a competitive price.  Every job is different and on average a job may take up to 10 business days to complete. The quote value is dependent on the complexity of the job.

 Payment process?

All payments should be made by bank transfer.

Please ensure to include your Job ID number in the description of the transfer

 How long is the quote valid for?

Once you submit an application form for water and/or sewerage connection, WSD will get back to you within 2 business days with the quote (providing the form is completed and you have provided all necessary information). The quote is valid for two months from the estimate date.

 Do I need to prepare my property for an inspection?

Yes, all lots must be clearly marked with property pegs and you must grant WSD employees permission to enter your property.

 Do I need neighbours consent?

You will need to provide us with a copy of your neighbours consent if your service goes through their property. All we require is a copy of their written consent signed and dated by the affected owner.

 Can I expect additional chargers?

Only if you fail to provide WSD with correct and or sufficient information and / or if the final DA Connection development condition provide to WSD conflicts with your original request. Please note, we will contact you if there are any additional chargers expected.
